What you will do

• Mobilize, position, and set up hollow-stem auger and Geoprobe drilling rigs.
• Collect high-quality soil cores and groundwater samples using split-spoon and Shelby tube methods.
• Construct and install groundwater monitoring wells, piezometers, and vapor pins.
• Execute meticulous decontamination protocols on sampling tools and drill rods to prevent cross-contamination.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance, greasing, and minor mechanical repairs on rigs and pumps.
• Seal boreholes with bentonite grout and restore surfaces with asphalt or concrete patches.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL Class A or B is a major plus).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel overnight for regional projects.
• 1+ years of experience in environmental, geotechnical, or construction drilling (preferred).
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is highly desirable.
