Environmental Field Technician

Location: Faro, Yukon, Canada; on-site. Full-time permanent role with a 7 days on/7 days off or 14 days on/14 days off schedule.

Salary: $30–$34 CAD per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct remote field sampling and environmental data collection.
• Research and compile environmental data from public registries, government offices, libraries, and online sources.
• Prepare environmental samples and shipments to laboratories.
• Enter, manage, manipulate, analyze, and interpret digital environmental data.
• Prepare and format reports while maintaining field equipment.
• Support filing, reception, special projects, and other related office duties as needed.

Requirements

• Technical diploma and at least one year of field experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with confidential documents.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
