EHS Engineer / Industrial Hygienist (Semiconductor)

Salary: $110,500–$152,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage global industrial hygiene programs covering respiratory protection, radiation, medical surveillance, noise, arsenic, indoor air quality, laser safety, and exposure assessments.
• Conduct hazard evaluations and exposure assessments, and implement engineering and administrative controls for new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and corporate EHS standards while continuously improving EHS programs.
• Lead occupational health initiatives, including injury and illness case management, workers’ compensation improvements, and medical surveillance optimization.
• Use EHS management systems and digital tools to improve compliance tracking, data integrity, performance insights, and global standardization.
• Provide technical guidance, lead incident investigations, support audits and emergency response, deliver training, and partner with global EHS stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant EHS or industrial hygiene experience; semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA PEL, Cal/OSHA, ACGIH TLV and BEI, NIOSH, SEMI S2, ANSI standards, and applicable local regulations.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Role is based in Santa Clara, CA; relocation eligibility is not available.
