TL;DR

TFSM IR EHS Safety and Industrial Hygiene Engineer (Semiconductor): Developing, coordinating, and managing site safety and industrial hygiene programs in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with an accent on risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and program effectiveness. Focus on investigating incidents, analyzing EHS data, implementing continuous improvements, and coordinating electrical, chemical, laser, working-at-height, and powered-industrial-truck safety programs.

Location: Leixlip, Ireland; hybrid work with time split between the hirify.global site and off-site work

Annual salary: €59,200–€111,300

What you will do

Develop, coordinate, manage, and continuously improve site safety and industrial hygiene programs.
Conduct detailed risk assessments for new manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Support event and injury response, investigations, and root cause analysis.
Manage regulatory compliance across safety and industrial hygiene programs and incorporate future regulatory changes.
Deliver training, education, awareness, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders.
Analyze EHS data, identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and implement continuous improvements in collaboration with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering teams.

Requirements

NFQ Level 8 qualification in Health and Safety or Industrial Hygiene, or an NFQ Level 8 Engineering or Science qualification together with an NFQ Level 9 qualification in Health and Safety or Industrial Hygiene.
8–10 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
Detailed knowledge of local EHS legislation and practice.
Experience with EHS management systems and data management using Excel.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid model based at the hirify.global site in Leixlip, Ireland.
