Manager, Environmental Health and Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S)

Location: Orange County, California; based in the Cypress manufacturing facility. Full-time role requiring flexibility to respond to facility emergencies on a 24/7 basis, support all operations and shifts, and travel 20%.

Estimated pay range: $115,000–$149,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve the facility safety management system in alignment with OSHA standards and company policy.
• Conduct safety audits, workplace inspections, near-miss reviews, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental permits, monitoring, waste handling, vendor disposal processes, and regulatory submissions for air, water, and hazardous waste.
• Track facility sustainability KPIs including energy, water, waste diversion, and greenhouse-gas emissions, and lead environmental improvement projects.
• Deliver EHS&S onboarding and refresher training and support the facility safety committee, supervisors, and team leads.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and present monthly EHS&S performance reports to workplace solutions leadership and corporate stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive EHS&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a closely related technical field.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards, including 29 CFR 1910, OSHA 300 logs, and inspections.
• Experience independently managing air, water, and waste permits and preparing regulatory submissions.
• Proven ability to lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project-management, Microsoft Office, EHS software, and CMMS skills.
