Location: Fully onsite at the Irvine, California manufacturing site in the United States; regular presence on the manufacturing floor and in shared office areas is required. Occasional off-shift support may be needed for drills, audits, incidents, events, or business needs. Travel is estimated at less than 10%.
Salary: $76,400–$114,575 annual base salary, with potential incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Lead daily execution of site Environmental, Health & Safety programs, including inspections, hazard identification, corrective actions, incident response, and employee safety engagement.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, local fire authority, environmental, emergency preparedness, and company EHS requirements.
- Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and lessons-learned communication.
- Own assigned programs covering emergency response, evacuation drills, lockout/tagout support, PPE, ergonomics, chemical handling, spill response, contractor safety, and safety committee coordination.
- Maintain training records, inspection logs, permits, audit evidence, and other compliance documentation in an audit-ready state.
- Support office and facility operations, onboarding logistics, vendor services, workplace requests, employee communications, audits, and leadership visits.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of manufacturing EHS practices, OSHA and Cal/OSHA expectations, emergency response, hazard identification, incident investigation, corrective action tracking, and safety training administration.
- Strong office management, administrative coordination, vendor follow-up, scheduling, recordkeeping, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor and in office environments while managing multiple workflows and open action items.
- Ability to handle confidential information and interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and leaders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, shared file systems, Teams, SharePoint, spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reporting tools.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related area, plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated manufacturing, medical device, life sciences, or another high-compliance operational environment.
- OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR/AED, HAZCOM, emergency response, or related EHS and facilities certifications.
