What you will do

  • Lead the architecture, embedded development, and verification of safety-critical software for the aircraft Charge Control Unit.
  • Direct charge-control software implementation and integration with 800V+ electrical components and analog/digital circuitry.
  • Decompose item requirements into high- and low-level software requirements in compliance with DO-178C DAL-A/B.
  • Design fault-detection and diagnostic algorithms for short circuits, sensor failures, and other hardware-level events.
  • Analyze hardware schematics, signal integrity, and power distribution networks to define software constraints and hardware-software interface control documents.
  • Define aerospace-compliant development and verification processes, support FAA certification audits, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
  • At least 60 months of experience designing and developing safety-critical embedded software using C/C++.
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and debugging.
  • Experience with communication protocols including CAN, SPI, or I2C.
  • Experience with aerospace safety standards, including DO-178C and DO-326A, and certification activities.
