Product Manager Level III (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for a kids and family financial empowerment product, from discovery and requirements through launch, growth, and iteration.
• Conduct market research and translate customer, competitive, and trend insights into product strategy and feature priorities.
• Create user personas, stories, and journey maps for children, parents, and guardians, ensuring engaging, safe, and age-appropriate experiences.
• Lead feature development focused on financial literacy, savings behavior, goal-setting, and long-term financial empowerment.
• Partner with engineering, design, QA, and financial institutions to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and align execution.
• Define and analyze product metrics and engagement data while ensuring compliance with financial services regulations, including requirements relevant to minors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, digital banking, financial wellness, or financial education.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Education, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience taking products from 0-to-1 through launch, growth, and ongoing iteration.
• Strong understanding of financial product compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly for products designed for or used by minors.
• Experience with market research, user stories, complex product portfolios, stakeholder management, and data-informed prioritization.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience working with financial institutions, credit unions, or community banks.
• Agile/Scrum experience or certification.
• Experience developing products for children, families, or underserved communities.
