Production Strategist (AI)

Salary: $150K–$250K per year, plus early-stage equity

What you will do

• Own post-deployment production success and provide technical support for customers.
• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing code paths, database state, API requests and responses, infrastructure, and browser behavior.
• Drive customer adoption, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Build tooling, automation, and playbooks that scale support without linear headcount growth.
• Modify production code to fix bugs and ship features for customer needs.
• Run training sessions and create documentation that make customers more self-sufficient.

Requirements

• Startup experience in a customer-facing or technical role.
• Strong technical foundation and ability to read and troubleshoot production code in customer-facing environments.
• Eagerness to write code and build scalable automation rather than one-off fixes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to connect customer outcomes with retention, adoption, and expansion in fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in an early-stage startup environment.
• Experience writing production code or building internal tooling and automation.
• Experience owning renewals or commercial relationships.
• Familiarity with IT, security, service management, or workflow automation.
