Associate Deployment Strategist (AI/ML Product)

Location: Onsite five days per week in San Francisco or New York City; approximately 25–30% travel for key customer milestones and kickoffs. Interviews are remote, with a final in-person round.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead customer discovery to understand workflows, constraints, requirements, edge cases, and success criteria.
• Translate complex business processes into executable AI agent workflows and partner with Agent Delivery Engineers on technical execution.
• Configure, test, and release agent configurations for customer use cases.
• Own deployment plans, timelines, risks, scope changes, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead customer kickoffs, milestone reviews, QBRs, executive updates, and ongoing deployment coordination.
• Improve and scale onboarding and deployment processes while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing, operations, implementation, consulting, product, support, or technical project role.
• Strong organization, follow-through, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and break complex workflows into clear steps, requirements, and decisions.
• Interest in AI, automation, logistics, and operational systems.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and presentation tools, plus basic technical familiarity with APIs, JSON, SQL, or system workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and create structure from ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience at a SaaS, logistics, supply chain, marketplace, or workflow automation company.
• Experience with AI-driven or automation products.
• Technical degree or coursework in computer science, engineering, mathematics, data, or a related field.
• Prior experience in implementation, customer success, solutions, or operations.
