Deployment Strategist (AI)

Location: On-site at the NYC HQ, United States

Salary: $160K–$220K per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Lead sales discovery and technical demos with enterprise customers to understand workflows, constraints, pain points, and success criteria.
• Scope pilots and translate customer needs into requirements for AI agents and integrations.
• Align executive and user stakeholders on scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering, product, operations, and customer teams through cross-functional implementations.
• Own production deployment, including configuration, testing, rollout planning, and post-launch iteration.
• Communicate progress, impact, results, and recommendations while sharing customer insights with Sales and Product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of customer discovery experience in ambiguous environments, such as product management, deployment strategy, solutions engineering, implementation, consulting, or similar roles.
• Strong technical and systems intuition, including the ability to reason about integrations, data flows, edge cases, and implementation constraints.
• Experience operating within complex enterprise systems spanning multiple tools and teams.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead working sessions and explain scope, risks, and technical concepts to operators and executives.
• High ownership, systems thinking, customer empathy, and the ability to learn new domains and tools quickly.

Nice to have

• Technical background in computer science or engineering.
• Experience with CPG, retail, deductions, trade promotions, chargebacks, EDI, or ERP ecosystems.
• Experience shipping customer-facing integrations or implementation tooling.
• Experience in solutions engineering or forward-deployed engineering at an early-stage startup.
