Technical Leader, Power Technology

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Travel: 30–50% of the time, including international travel.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical and commercial focal point for power technologies, equipment solutions, and emerging technologies.
• Develop and grow new products and technologies through pricing, technology development, business relationships, and market monitoring.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships to improve market share and profitability.
• Engage customers on schedule acceleration, infrastructure integration, risk management, and delivery strategy.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market intelligence, trend analysis, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with licensing teams, customers, engineering groups, manufacturers, licensees, and external partners on troubleshooting, modeling, solution development, and commercial growth.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience with power and instrumentation systems and equipment in the ammonia, refining, or petrochemical industry.
• Ability to align internal licensing groups, external partners, customers, and project stakeholders around business-growth objectives.
• Ability to travel 30–50% of the time, including internationally.
• Customer-focused and comfortable working across technical and commercial teams.
