Project Engineer (Senior/Staff - Power Innovation)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work is available for most office roles. Travel requirement: 25%–50%.

What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts across design, procurement, construction, permitting, commissioning, and operations.
• Design, analyze, and optimize power generation systems supporting turbine operations, fuel gas systems, and facility performance.
• Improve system reliability, efficiency, and safety through equipment and performance analysis.
• Support maintenance programs, outage planning, troubleshooting, and operational system improvements.
• Coordinate with consultant engineering firms and internal engineering, drafting, purchasing, inspection, contracts, planning, and operations teams.
• Lead design reviews, facilitate lessons learned, mentor engineers and technical staff, and contribute to projects of increasing complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Senior level: eight years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry.
• Staff level: twelve to fifteen years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or a related industry.
• Experience supporting EPC, FEED, or large capital project execution.
• Experience with maintenance programs, outage coordination, or operational systems.
• Willingness to travel 25%–50%.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to improve system performance and reliability.
