Principal Consultant (Advisory)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $220,000–$360,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing consulting engagements and direct diverse advisory and delivery teams.
• Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops while managing customer expectations.
• Lead technical project teams and manage requirements, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
• Review, edit, approve, and present project deliverables to client executive management.
• Support business development through discovery meetings, project scoping, proposal development, and technical presentations to C-level executives.
• Develop advisory services, contribute technology thought leadership, maintain knowledge of IT trends and standards, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Senior-level consulting experience.
• At least 15 years of experience as a senior information technology leader overseeing transformative modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, or agile-at-scale adoption.
• At least 8 years of executive technology consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks such as OKRs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, executive presence, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve complex, abstract problems, listen effectively, and connect with different personalities.
• Demonstrated experience as a technology change agent.
