Principal Consultant - Advisory

Location: United States; remote workplace. The role includes hands-on client engagement management and may require onsite client interaction.

Salary: $220,000–$360,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops with clients.
• Lead technical project teams delivering consulting services and manage requirements, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and business objectives.
• Analyze complex problems, define practical approaches, review deliverables, and present outcomes to client executive management.
• Support business development through discovery meetings, project scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Develop and enhance advisory consulting and deployment offerings while serving as a technology thought leader.
• Mentor team members and build relationships with customers and C-level executives.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience as a senior IT leader overseeing transformative modernization initiatives.
• At least 8 years of executive technology consulting experience.
• Experience with cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, or agile-at-scale adoption.
• Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks such as OKRs and familiarity with Agile and software development lifecycle principles.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, business, and executive presence skills.
