Senior Community Affairs & Partnerships Manager (AI)

Location: US - Remote. The role requires up to 50% travel across multiple markets and access to export-controlled information is subject to US person or export authorization eligibility.

Salary: $143,000–$191,000 base salary annually, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional community engagement strategies across assigned markets, aligning stakeholder work with permitting, construction, and operational priorities.
• Assess community sentiment, political dynamics, stakeholder priorities, opposition, and reputational risks during site selection and project due diligence.
• Build relationships with elected officials, community leaders, nonprofits, unions, business groups, and other local stakeholders.
• Develop market-specific engagement plans, milestones, escalation paths, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Develop and negotiate community benefit agreements and coordinate on PILOTs, RDAs, and similar development agreements.
• Oversee local partnerships, community investments, budgets, sponsorships, and employee-driven community initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government affairs, or external relations.
• Experience supporting data centers, energy projects, or other large-scale critical-infrastructure development, including permitting or entitlement processes.
• Experience independently leading complex, multi-market stakeholder strategies and advising senior leaders in politically sensitive or high-visibility environments.
• Experience building relationships with government officials, community organizations, business groups, labor representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Must meet US export-control access requirements, including US person status or eligibility for applicable export authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating community benefit agreements, PILOTs, RDAs, or similar development agreements.
• Experience managing corporate giving, community investment, sponsorship, or corporate partnership portfolios.
