PR and Communications Manager (AI)

Location: United States — East Coast; remote-first, with availability during East Coast hours and the ability to travel to NYC on short notice.

Salary: $121,400–$161,900 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Build an integrated PR and communications roadmap across leadership, business growth, product and technology innovation, partnerships, social impact, and workplace culture.
• Grow consumer and corporate media coverage and develop cohesive stories around product launches, company milestones, partnerships, and cultural moments.
• Build executive thought-leadership platforms through ghostwriting, media opportunities, podcasts, and industry events.
• Manage external PR and influencer agency partners and amplify celebrity, creator, and social-impact partnerships.
• Own press releases, press pages, leadership presentations, internal storytelling playbooks, and the awards strategy.
• Partner with Product, Data, Insights, Partnerships, Social Impact, and People teams while measuring awareness, credibility, coverage quality, executive visibility, and engagement.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in PR or communications, ideally across in-house and agency or editorial environments.
• Excellent independent writing skills, including ghostwriting leadership LinkedIn posts and founder essays in another person’s voice.
• Experience developing narratives that connect product, technology, business growth, partnerships, and human stories.
• Established relationships across digital, print, and broadcast media, with the ability to secure high-impact placements.
• Experience preparing senior leaders for press, showroom activations, live media moments, and executive visibility opportunities.
• Must work East Coast hours and be able to travel to NYC on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience in ecommerce, employer branding, influencer communications, or technology companies.
• Comfort using AI tools to improve communications work and output.
