Quality Assurance Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States. U.S. Person status is required due to the nature of work and potential exposure to export-controlled information.

Salary: $68,600–$100,000 annually.

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and revise quality assurance protocols for processing materials into partially finished and finished products.
• Plan and manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal, customer, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards and procedures.
• Review in-process rejections, obtain dispositions, and implement corrective actions.
• Interface with customers, vendors, inspection personnel, and internal departments to resolve quality problems and provide technical support.
• Participate in audits and prepare product assurance documentation for customer programs.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person and may be subject to additional security screening for export-controlled information.
• At least 2 years of quality assurance experience, or 5 years of relevant experience or education in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral, written, technical writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of product quality and compliance with health and safety procedures.

• Experience in the commercial nuclear power generation industry.
