Quality Specialist (Yerington, NV)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Yerington, Nevada, with frequent travel to active solar project sites within the region.

Salary: $73,104–$91,380 per year

What you will do

• Perform random sampling inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical definable features of work.
• Verify installations against project specifications, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
• Document discrepancies, prepare Non-Conformance Reports, and maintain inspection records.
• Analyze inspection results and quality trends to support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings with site managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and corporate quality teams.
• Support field personnel onboarding and training on quality procedures and standards.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 3 years of experience in solar EPC or utility-scale construction quality control.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC protocols.
• Familiarity with solar installation methods and standards such as NEC, IEEE, and ASTM.
• Proficiency with inspection tools, reporting software, and digital documentation.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently in field environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with NCR workflows and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
