TL;DR

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite in an office and manufacturing environment

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components for aerospace and defense applications, including engines, landing gear, satellites, missiles, and unmanned aerial systems.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to maintain quality control systems and meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Collect and analyze production data, identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare nonconformance, quality trend, and corrective action reports and support Defense, Aerospace, and customer audits.
  • Lead qualification of product and process changes and review quality documentation, including ECOs, MCOs, deviations, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Support failure analysis, reliability testing, and process capability studies.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of Quality Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to the assigned product or program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; full color acuity is required.
  • Where access to Controlled Data or Information is required, only US Persons will be considered. ITAR and potential government security investigation eligibility requirements apply.

Nice to have

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • ASQC Quality Engineer Certification.
