TL;DR

Focus on maintaining QA procedures, establishing supplier qualification plans, providing training, and supporting continuous improvement in a regulated, high-stakes environment.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support permitted as approved by the Contracting Officer.

What you will do

  • Conduct quality assurance audits and surveillances across Hanford Field Office operations.
  • Manage corrective actions and maintain quality assurance program procedures.
  • Oversee QA programs and provide training to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight and consulting support in nuclear safety and environmental management.
  • Establish supplier qualification plans and support Safety, Environment, and Quality program activities.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical functions, including engineering, environmental and regulatory support, industrial safety, training, and security.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of quality assurance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Environmental Management sector is preferred.
  • DOE/NQA-1 experience is preferred; QA certifications are beneficial.
  • Strong auditing, corrective action, and QA documentation skills.
  • Ability to work at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington; facility and, when required, DOE security clearance requirements apply.
