What you will do

• Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality processes, procedures, and applications.
• Contribute to the objectives of an effective quality program.
• Develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards based on engineering and professional principles.
• Provide creative solutions to unusually significant, unique, and complex quality issues.
• Coordinate formal networks across internal groups, external resources, and key decision makers.
• Use independent judgment to determine methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving long-range objectives.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in engineering, quality assurance, industrial systems engineering, or a related field, plus at least 12 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Postgraduate coursework may be expected.
• Professional training and certifications in related fields may receive additional consideration.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance is required.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract and clearance requirements.
