Junior Field Technician (Construction Materials Testing)

Location: Onsite in Farmingdale, New York, USA

Salary: $20–26 per hour

What you will do

• Perform standardized field tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Conduct testing in accordance with ASTM and other applicable standards.
• Report testing results according to standardized requirements.
• Maintain and verify testing equipment.
• Assist with construction materials testing in the laboratory as needed.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge or understanding, with a willingness to learn technical skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Obtain ACI Field Grade 1 Certification within six months of hiring.
