Senior Electrical Engineer (Defense)

What you will do

• Design and analyze electrical networks, communications systems, and signal processing applications.
• Provide engineering analysis and design recommendations for processing, communications, and networking architectures.
• Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings for system development and integration.
• Participate in system integration, verification, testing, and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze system-level issues, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations and support program reviews, customer meetings, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Strong experience with electrical networks, communications systems, and signal processing solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for program and customer needs.

Nice to have

• Defense or government program experience.
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, network infrastructure, server architectures, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with RF communications, digital signal processing, cybersecurity, and test and evaluation activities.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic networks, LEO satellite communications, and microwave links.
