Systems Administrator

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; this role is expected to be performed in the office 5 days a week.

Annual base salary: $110,000–$125,000, plus a target annual bonus of 10%.

What you will do

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company infrastructure, including cloud servers, switches, firewalls, and cloud-based tools.
• Administer access, permissions, and privileges for on-site resources and cloud services.
• Provide escalated helpdesk support and resolve local and remote infrastructure issues.
• Lead IT projects from planning through post-implementation review, including infrastructure migrations, SaaS deployments, software rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to implement IT solutions, improve end-user experience, and control costs.
• Support SoC 2 audit activities by collecting evidence, validating controls, and documenting IT processes; identify and pilot AI-driven service improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Operations, Network Administrator, or IT Engineer.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with infrastructure hardware and software administration, networking, access management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate with distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience leading migrations, rollouts, or comparable projects across distributed teams.
• Administration of Meraki firewalls, VPNs, switches, access points, Okta, Intune, Jamf, M365, Zscaler, and Microsoft Teams.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with ticketing or issue-tracking software and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
