System Administrator (Microsoft Azure)

Location: Onsite in Jefferson, Colorado, supporting the Jefferson and Golden locations; U.S. Person status required for ITAR/export-control eligibility.

Base salary: $110,000–$145,000 USD annually, excluding benefits and bonuses.

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Okta, and Active Directory environments.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, switches, VPNs, and network services.
• Write PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Document systems, procedures, configurations, and runbooks.
• Resolve escalated support tickets and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of hands-on systems administration or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Azure, Okta, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPN products.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, server security, and patching.
• Must hold U.S. Person status and be eligible for ITAR/export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• PKI and certificate lifecycle management experience.
• Domain management and DNS registrar administration experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ITSM platforms.
• Relevant Microsoft, Okta, Fortinet, or systems administration certifications.
