What you will do

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and test electrical equipment and systems at the assigned data center.
• Perform preventive maintenance for lighting, battery backups, inverters, security gates, generators, and substations.
• Install and repair wiring, conduit, fixtures, circuit breakers, transformers, and related electrical components according to the NEC and local codes.
• Inspect systems for hazards and defects, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform corrective maintenance.
• Support rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning, including high-priority data center floor issues.
• Coordinate team scheduling and material requisitions while communicating with coworkers and organizational leaders.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical trade.
• Formal vocational training in the fundamentals of the electrical trade.
• Required unlimited electrical or contractor's license.
• Valid driver's license and experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand tools.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and basic proficiency with email and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Prior military or technical school training.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time onsite schedule, generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Some nights and weekends may be required.
• Minimal travel between data centers may be required.
• Work takes place in data center, office, and shop environments, including hot and cold conditions.
• Physical requirements include frequent sitting, standing, walking, hand use, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
