What you will do

• Assist higher-level technicians with testing, wiring, and setting up electrical test equipment.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and adjustments on voltage regulation equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to various substations and field locations.
• Investigate faulty operations and assist in troubleshooting electrical lines and equipment.
• Document test results, maintain electronic databases, and prepare technical reports.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and procedures while working in hazardous environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus a two-year electrical/electronic degree or two years of relevant experience.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical circuits via technical assessment.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn company-specific software.
• Must pass a background check for access to secured areas.
