Senior Final Assembly Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the Centennial, Colorado facility, United States. Schedule: Friday-Sunday, three 12-hour shifts, with a shift differential.

Salary: $32.00-$43.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform physical, visual, electrical, and mechanical inspections of turbojet engine assemblies using torque wrenches, pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and height gages.
• Complete final inspections after engine build and testing, before shipment.
• Measure components against engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, MES requirements, and industry specifications.
• Create and implement inspection processes, documentation, customer data packets, and certificates of conformance.
• Identify non-conformances, support root cause analysis and corrective actions, and collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Maintain QMS records, calibration documentation, KPI tracking, document control, and MES work instructions.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a quality position.
• Experience in an AS9100 or similar manufacturing and inspection environment.
• Experience with subassembly and final assembly inspection methods and tools.
• Experience creating quality documentation, including non-conformances and certificates of conformance.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to collaborate calmly and objectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Calypso, PC DMIS, Keyence machines, additive manufacturing, machine operations, or auditing.
