Engineer II, Fullstack

Location: Remote in the United States; US Citizenship or Green Card required, along with US residency for at least the past 3 years. Must be able to meet Public Trust requirements and complete a US Government background investigation. Visa sponsorship is not available.

hirify.global develops and modernizes the Unified Case Management system for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to support Medicare and Medicaid program integrity operations.

What you will do

• Deliver medium-to-large features for one or more products while reducing technical debt.
• Build backend systems and user interfaces using test-driven development.
• Develop APIs, specifications, and data models for frontend and third-party integrations.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable data interactions with strong data integrity.
• Develop user interfaces based on UX designs and customer needs.
• Contribute to functional and non-functional automated testing suites and support team members.

Requirements

• 8 years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12 years of experience without the education requirement.
• High proficiency in one or more software engineering technologies.
• Experience scoping, estimating, designing, and delivering medium-to-large features.
• Java with Spring Boot.
• TypeScript and Angular; React may substitute for Angular.
• Maven and JavaScript.
• Experience developing APIs, specifications, data models, backend systems, and user interfaces.
• Experience with data performance, scalability, integrity, security, and automated testing.
• US Citizenship or Green Card, at least 3 years of US residency, and eligibility for a Public Trust position.

• Experience working on a large-scale system with more than 100 users.
• PostgreSQL.
• AWS knowledge and experience.
• Camunda.
• AI/ML experience.
