Senior Application Developer (Frontend)

Location: Washington, D.C., United States; onsite with hybrid SCIF support. Applicants must currently reside in the United States. TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.

Salary: USD $140,770–$211,156 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance the SOURCE application, the directorate homepage across the intelligence community and the main platform for FINTEL.
• Build new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for legacy and existing systems.
• Develop features that allow successor and legacy systems to integrate and coexist.
• Support an interactive, AI-enabled, containerized iteration of SOURCE and its transition from virtual machines to containers.
• Independently manage multiple complex assignments, develop methodologies, present solutions, and contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate results, recommend changes, and potentially supervise others.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Master’s degree and 8+ years of application or software development experience, including some experience within the last 2 years; or a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of application or software development experience as a substitute for a Master’s degree.
• Full-stack development experience supporting a new, interactive, AI-enabled, containerized iteration of SOURCE.
• Mandatory experience with Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Angular, NestJS, Node, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Ability to develop solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Nice to have

• JSON, Java, JavaScript, SharePoint, XML, VBA, Oracle, MongoDB, Solr, SQL, OpenAI, or other AI technologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
