Revenue Cycle Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze revenue cycle metrics and large datasets to identify opportunities to improve revenue, collections, and financial performance.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc revenue cycle reports and convert complex information into actionable financial insights.
• Perform root cause analysis covering denial management, timely filing, payment reconciliation, and patient collections.
• Partner with revenue cycle leadership and cross-functional teams to reduce avoidable exceptions and improve collections performance.
• Monitor industry trends, marketplace dynamics, and payer activity, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of healthcare revenue cycle or analytical experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims data, reimbursement processes, payer contracts, denial management, and revenue cycle operations.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, business intelligence, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with SQL and Tableau.
