Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs require.

Salary: $69,000–$104,100 per year, with final offers based on experience and geographic zone.

What you will do

  • Analyze clinical and technical denials using parsed 835 data, Epic records, Access databases, SQL, and patient accounting systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and extrapolate account-level findings across denial trends for assigned hospitals.
  • Lead monthly denial prevention meetings, onsite week kick-offs, close-outs, and client-facing committee reporting.
  • Advise revenue cycle, finance, managed care, and hospital stakeholders on process, system, and education improvements.
  • Create policies, procedures, tip sheets, reports, and summaries to support denial prevention initiatives.
  • Develop training materials and train denial prevention staff, site directors, committee members, and revenue cycle staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with project work, project management, data analytics, and intermediate Excel and Access skills.
  • Advanced use of AI and experience managing teams that use AI for process and technology improvements.
  • Ability to work with client stakeholders and facilitate recommendations for resolving denial-related issues.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations when required.

  • LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
