Sr. FP&A Analyst I

Location: Remote in the United States, or hybrid based out of the Rochester, NY office. Corporate Finance team members work across different states and time zones and may travel periodically for projects and workshops.

Salary: $81,300–$102,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead monthly expense reviews, including actuals-versus-forecast-versus-plan variance analysis.
• Manage forecasting and planning for assigned business areas and contribute to the annual operating plan.
• Partner with functional leaders to evaluate trade-offs, risks, opportunities, and business decisions.
• Develop financial models and analyze large, unstructured datasets to identify performance trends.
• Improve management reporting and finance workflows for timely, accurate, decision-useful outputs.
• Use AI and automation tools to streamline analysis and enhance output quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to build, maintain, and review financial models and work with incomplete or unstructured data.
• Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing management or board presentations and explaining complex topics clearly.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable collaborating in a remote environment across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience using artificial intelligence and advanced analytical tools in corporate finance.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar EPM tools.
• Experience with SQL, NetSuite, or similar ERP tools.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA designation, or an international equivalent.
