Private Asset Fund Operations Senior Analyst (Private Equity)

Location: Hybrid, on-site in Minneapolis, MN at least three days per week

Salary: $103,828–$140,472 per year

What you will do

• Maintain fund operations for private equity, private equity real estate, private debt, private high-yield, and private asset-backed portfolios.
• Perform accounting, valuations, management reporting, performance analysis, ownership structure analysis, distribution tracking, and cash monitoring.
• Support annual GAAP audits, tax preparation, statutory financial reporting, and surplus management analysis.
• Provide portfolio- and security-level investment reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, portfolio managers, and legal counsel.
• Coordinate requirements and best practices across fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, custodial banks, portfolio-monitoring providers, and accounting software vendors.
• Support strategic initiatives for the private equity portfolio and analyze external sub-advised private equity managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and influence skills.
• Ability and eagerness to work collaboratively across organizational levels.
• Interest in new technology and industry trends.
• Ability to work on-site in Minneapolis, MN at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or CPA designation.
• Experience with private fund audits, private fund financial reporting, and end-to-end private asset processes.
• Experience with private asset systems, fund administration, or custody functions.
• Business requirements, prioritization, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
