Location: Must be based in the continental US (candidates in Mountain or Pacific Time Zones or those willing to work after Eastern time zone hours preferred)
Salary: $74,090 - $125,954

What you will do
- Design and deliver in-person and virtual training for CDBG-DR grantees covering housing, infrastructure, mitigation, and federal grant requirements.
- Facilitate interactive learning sessions using group discussions, case studies, and role-playing to maximize knowledge retention.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for HUD disaster recovery programs, contributing to product development and technical assistance deliverables.
- Develop high-quality training materials and customize content based on the specific needs and learning capacity of various audiences.
- Ensure all developed materials are accurate, consistent, and in full compliance with federal regulations.
- Provide direct guidance to grantees through a variety of learning environments and instructional formats.
Requirements
- Must be located in the continental US.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience working directly with CDBG-DR, HUD, or other relevant affordable housing programs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and delivering training and technical assistance (TTA) services using various platforms.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills for both virtual and face-to-face classroom delivery.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with multifamily developers or housing authorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design.
