Business Analyst II - Fraud (Fraud Analytics)

Location: Atlanta, GA preferred; remote candidates accepted from anywhere in the U.S.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze high-volume transactional data to identify fraud trends, quantify risk, and improve the experience for legitimate players.
• Build, document, and maintain dashboards and reusable analyses for fraud performance and key risk indicators.
• Translate complex datasets into visualizations, concise talking points, and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Product to identify and close data, performance, and process gaps.
• Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses supporting fraud-related business decisions and product initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in risk analytics, fraud detection, or a related data-focused field.
• Understanding of payment fraud, identity fraud, bonus abuse, and the impact of fraud controls on legitimate users.
• Advanced SQL, data visualization experience such as Tableau, and strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in online gaming, Daily Fantasy Sports, or fintech.
• Python experience for automation, modeling, or statistical analysis.
