Capital Planning Manager

Location: Creve Coeur, Missouri, USA; regular travel between floors and buildings is required.

Salary: $93,500–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and own the capital maintenance plan for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevator, and life-safety systems.
• Oversee preventive maintenance design and implementation in line with manufacturer recommendations, industry practices, and company procedures.
• Review critical technical work, equipment upgrades, infrastructure improvements, building standards, codes, insurance documentation, and client requirements.
• Manage the VFA system, including equipment additions and modifications, and deliver training related to VFA technologies.
• Support facility managers and technicians responsible for daily building operations and maintenance.
• Control budgets and forecast contracts and major operations while reporting abnormal or critical conditions.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree required; Business or Facilities Management preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in account management, facilities operations, analytics, and planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of critical equipment, electrical generation and distribution, HVAC, IT systems, environmental regulations, building codes, fire and safety systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel between floors and buildings and to remain seated or standing for prolonged periods.
