Location: North Andover, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid schedule with required office attendance Monday–Wednesday and remote work Thursday–Friday; up to 15% travel.
Salary: $168,000–$179,000 per year.

What you will do
- Lead full-lifecycle new product development programs from concept through pilot builds and launch, managing schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Partner with Product Management, Sourcing, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing to define technical solutions and deliver programs on time and within budget.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software elements into product-level designs and benchmark new concepts against legacy products.
- Use CFD for flow modeling, pressure-drop analysis, cavitation prediction, and valve optimization, correlating simulations with test data.
- Approve specifications, drawings, material requirements, DFMEAs/PFMEAs, verification reports, and analytical and experimental documentation.
- Coach engineers in mechanical and fluid-dynamic principles, force-balance calculations, sealing technologies, and practical engineering methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of product development experience, preferably with fluid-handling or valve applications.
- Experience managing cross-functional engineering projects or programs independently.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD solid modeling software; Autodesk Inventor experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cost estimation, DFM, DFA, program accounting, compliance, test standards, and third-party certification requirements.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Experience with overseas development teams and manufacturing partners.
- Knowledge of copper alloys, iron casting and forging, plastics, and plastic molding for water systems.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
