Location: US VA Danville Plt 0126; onsite at the manufacturing plant

Salary: $70,955–$131,774 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary EHS subject matter expert for a dedicated manufacturing unit.
• Lead EHS initiatives supporting plant, regional, and global objectives.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and company environmental and safety requirements.
• Drive management system improvements, governance processes, and employee engagement.
• Support the EHS Management System Steering Committee and related improvement activities.
• Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics and KPIs while developing plant-level goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Technical Science, or a related field; equivalent legally qualifying experience may be considered.
• Experience implementing and managing EHS programs in a large manufacturing environment, preferably supporting 500 or more associates.
• Experience developing EHS programs; manufacturing and labor union experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Experience tracking, trending, and reporting EHS data.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Advanced environmental, safety, engineering, or technical credentials.
