Staff Project Manager (SaaS)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually, including base salary and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery for complex, multi-suite, multi-department government implementations, including sequencing and phased go-live planning.
• Coordinate Solutions Architecture, Technical, Change Management, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services functions without direct reporting authority.
• Establish governance artifacts including RAID logs, decision registers, escalation paths, configuration-freeze protocols, status reports, and steering committee materials.
• Manage scope boundaries, change-order triggers, risks, mitigation plans, UAT acceptance standards, and go-live readiness criteria.
• Serve as the primary accountability point for Director- and VP-level client stakeholders while navigating competing priorities and changing decision-makers.
• Lead root-cause analysis, mentor Lead/Sr. PMs and Implementation Consultants, and feed engagement insights into delivery methodology and product feedback.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive program and project management experience in a SaaS environment, including at least one enterprise-scale, multi-product implementation.
• Experience coordinating implementation, product, engineering, and sales functions in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Experience with governmental clients or regulated/public-sector environments, including procurement constraints and multi-department governance.
• Strong technical aptitude in enterprise SaaS deployment, configuration management, data migration oversight, and integration coordination.
• Proficiency with project and CRM tooling such as RocketLane and Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong communication, documentation, budget-tracking, delivery-margin awareness, risk-management, and executive stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification; CSM, PSM, or SAFe Agile certification may be equivalent or supplementary.
• Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent Change Management certification.
• Working knowledge of PMBOK, Agile, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
