Senior Solutions Engineer (Observability)

Location: Remote in the United States, with listed locations in Illinois, Dallas, Texas, and Denver, Colorado

Salary: $165,000–$216,562 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand prospects’ environments, challenges, and observability requirements.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design, scope, and manage technical evaluations and proof-of-concept deployments in customer environments.
• Partner with Account Executives on technical sales strategies throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
• Create technical sales collateral, maintain demo environments, and train the broader Sales organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the software industry.
• Practical understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Experience with tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to travel to client sites and industry events.

Nice to have

• Experience selling to Developer, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering personas.
• Experience in a high-growth observability or Application Performance Monitoring company.
