Senior Solutions Engineer (Security and Observability)

What you will do

• Support ANZ accounts as the primary technical resource and partner with Account Executives and Account Managers.
• Understand customer requirements and pain points, then design solutions for security and observability use cases.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical evaluations.
• Lead technical validations and Proof of Value engagements throughout the sales cycle.
• Build relationships with stakeholders ranging from executives to developers and Site Reliability Engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to improve the service based on customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, sales engineering, implementation consulting, support engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or software development involving customer work or project leadership.
• Hands-on knowledge of security technologies, including IDS/IPS, SIEM, log management, network and endpoint security, threat detection, incident response, MSSP/MDR, threat feeds, and CASB.
• Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure, plus a broad understanding of servers, networking devices, storage, and technical infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid business and technical acumen.

Nice to have

• Experience with Telegraf, Fluent Bit, FluentD, or OpenTelemetry collections.
• Experience leading Proof of Value technical validations.
• Azure certification and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, or modern microservices architectures.
• Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, New Relic, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience working in a successful startup or dynamic, fast-paced environment.
