Senior Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom

Salary: £101,000–£137,000 base salary annually, plus equity and commission; compensation includes a 70/30 base-to-variable split for Solutions Engineers.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects.
• Own technical relationships through pre-sales, including platform demonstrations, architecture discussions, and technical proofs-of-concept.
• Install and troubleshoot hirify.global on cloud and on-premise Kubernetes or virtual machine infrastructure.
• Demonstrate developer, administrator, and AI-agent workflows, including agentic and LLM-powered development.
• Share prospect and customer insights with Engineering and Product, and track issues and feature requests in Linear.
• Contribute pull requests to hirify.global documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer selling infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to translate technical challenges into business value.
• Deep Linux and command-line fundamentals, with experience leading architecture demonstrations and troubleshooting sessions.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, plus 3+ years with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Knowledge of networking, AI development tools, LLM infrastructure, and enterprise evaluation of agentic AI workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience at both high-growth startups and larger software vendors.
• Experience deploying or supporting AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Devin in customer environments.
• Background in CI/CD, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer-platform products.
• Kubernetes, AWS, or related certifications.
