Technical Designer / Pattern Maker (Intimate Wear)

What you will do

• Build and maintain digital tech packs with bills of materials, measurement charts, and vector construction diagrams.
• Lead or participate in remote fit sessions using photos, videos, and 3D digital avatars.
• Establish and grade points of measurement across size ranges.
• Draft production-ready CAD patterns from 2D apparel sketches.
• Use 3D simulation tools to evaluate fabric drape, tension, and fit.
• Coordinate with overseas and domestic manufacturers to resolve construction, sewing, and assembly issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of expert-level experience with digital pattern-making software such as Clo3D, Browzwear, Gerber Accumark, Optitex, or Lectra, plus Adobe Illustrator.
• 3–5 years of apparel industry experience in technical design and pattern drafting.
• Proven apparel development experience with specific expertise in intimate wear.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex garment construction issues.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace suitable for video fit reviews.
• Portfolio required, including digital tech packs, CAD patterns, 3D prototypes, and fit evaluations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
