What you will do

• Lead a team of software development engineers responsible for tools that deploy and manage private cloud-native infrastructure.
• Shape the architecture and implementation of stable, scalable, and flexible production environments.
• Manage workload, well-being, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and professional growth for engineers.
• Collaborate across engineering, product and project management, and executive leadership.
• Support high-quality software delivery, engineering excellence, security, performance, and organizational change.
• Apply AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering or development experience, including 2–3+ years in a hands-on people-management role.
• Experience with large-scale distributed production environments and cloud-native software delivery.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, SDLC practices, and tools such as Jira.
• Strong design, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Experience leading remote teams and developing high-performing software engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling distributed systems on bare-metal and virtual data-center infrastructure.
• Cost optimization and cost-of-goods-sold experience.
• Professional Go experience developing automation scripts, tools, dashboards, or alarms.
• Scrum or other agile methodology leadership experience.
