Supply Chain Delivery Manager (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: United States; remote-friendly, with staff expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time. The role may be based in San Francisco or remote in the United States near the regional project portfolio. Travel of up to 40% to construction sites and supplier factories is expected.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery plans for owner-furnished equipment, including purchase orders, engineering approvals, production slots, factory acceptance tests, shipping, and required-on-site dates.
• Integrate equipment milestones with general contractors’ construction schedules and identify risks before purchase orders are issued.
• Lead supplier delivery cadences and escalate factory slips, component shortages, failed acceptance tests, and shipping delays.
• Coordinate oversize and overweight transportation, route surveys, permits, cranes, rigging, laydown, staging, and interim storage.
• Ensure equipment arrives complete with accessories, spares, documentation, and vendor startup support for installation and commissioning.
• Report portfolio delivery risks, lead Capacity Delivery Reviews, track delivery KPIs, and feed lessons learned into sourcing and construction planning.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain delivery, equipment expediting, construction management, or infrastructure program management on large-scale, schedule-driven construction programs.
• Hands-on experience delivering power or cooling equipment for mission-critical facilities, including transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, busway, chillers, CDUs, and air handlers.
• Experience managing cross-functional escalations across construction teams, suppliers, and internal partners.
• Ability to read and influence construction schedules using P6 or MS Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication, data fluency, and experience building trackers and dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or AI data center construction and OFCI delivery models.
• Experience supporting 5–10 or more concurrent projects across a regional portfolio.
• Knowledge of FAT/SAT, commissioning workflows, heavy-haul logistics, international freight, customs, and Incoterms.
• Technical understanding of data center electrical distribution and cooling system design.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or Procore; PMP or CSCP certification.
