Supply Chain Delivery Manager (Data Center Power & Cooling)

Location: Remote-friendly within the United States; hybrid policy requires staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time. The role may be based in San Francisco or remote in the United States near the regional portfolio. Travel up to 40% to construction sites and supplier factories.

Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end owner-furnished equipment (OFE) delivery plans for regional data center projects, integrating purchase orders, engineering approvals, production, factory acceptance testing, shipping, and required-on-site dates with general contractor construction schedules.
• Lead site-level OFE kickoffs and maintain the portfolio tracker covering every equipment line item, milestone, and risk rating.
• Run supplier delivery cadences, verify production progress, and resolve factory slips, component shortages, failed factory acceptance tests, and shipping delays through expedites, partial shipments, resequencing, and alternate sources.
• Coordinate oversized and overweight equipment transportation, including carriers, route surveys, permits, cranes, rigging, laydown, staging, interim storage, receiving inspections, and preservation.
• Hold general contractor OFCI teams accountable for receiving, storage, and installation readiness, and manage changes and claims affecting construction schedules.
• Report delivery risks and KPIs to leadership through recurring Capacity Delivery Reviews and feed lessons learned into sourcing and construction planning.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in supply chain delivery, equipment expediting, construction management, or infrastructure program management on large-scale, schedule-driven construction programs.
• Hands-on experience delivering power and/or cooling equipment for mission-critical facilities, including transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS, busway, chillers, CDUs, and air handlers, with familiarity with OEM production and shipping.
• Experience managing cross-functional escalations across construction teams, suppliers, and internal partners, including decisions on expediting, resequencing, and commercial escalation.
• Ability to read and influence construction schedules using P6 or MS Project and connect equipment milestones to those schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn complex delivery problems into concise leadership recommendations.
• Data fluency with trackers and dashboards, and a preference for using delivery data rather than relying on status emails.
• Ability to work with high autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and own outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or AI data center construction and OFCI delivery models.
• Experience supporting 5–10 or more concurrent projects across a regional portfolio.
• Working knowledge of FAT/SAT, commissioning workflows, and equipment documentation gates.
• Heavy-haul or project logistics experience, including international freight, customs, and Incoterms.
• Technical understanding of data center electrical distribution and cooling system design.
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet, or Procore.
• PMP, CSCP, or similar certification.
