Supply Chain: Logistics Partner Onboarding Lead (SAP)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office. The role is onshore and the listed compensation applies to the United States.

Salary: $135,500–$275,000 annual base salary in California; $119,500–$275,000 annual base salary in Texas.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding of carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, warehouses, and regional fulfillment partners from solution design through testing, go-live, and stabilization.
• Design and enable logistics processes in SAP S/4HANA, including delivery processing, picking, packing, goods issue, shipment processing, scheduling, STOs, and route determination.
• Develop regional fulfillment models covering service levels, inventory, cost, capacity, customer promise, and compliance.
• Define B2B integrations using EDI, XML, APIs, IDocs, flat files, mappings, monitoring, acknowledgments, and error handling.
• Lead cross-functional testing, cutover readiness, operational dashboards, training, and post-launch support.
• Identify opportunities for AI-enabled and agentic automation in partner onboarding, transaction validation, exception management, and logistics decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, supply chain, logistics, business, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of SAP implementation experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, warehouse management, fulfillment, or logistics technology.
• 5+ years leading logistics partner onboarding, carrier or 3PL implementations, transportation integration, or external-partner enablement programs.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience across logistics functions such as SD, LE, MM, EWM, TM, shipping, warehouse, or transportation.
• Experience with global shipping, Incoterms, customs, trade compliance, regional fulfillment, and complex high-tech supply chains.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, communication, documentation, problem-solving, and change-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing automation, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, or agentic solutions.
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT logistics transactions.
