Regional Manager APAC, Data Center Capacity Delivery (AI)

Location: Sydney, Australia. Hybrid policy requires staff to be in an office at least 25% of the time; the role also requires frequent presence at regional project sites.

What you will do

• Own delivery across a regional portfolio of active and upcoming data center projects through early-floor-access and floor-access milestones.
• Build, hire, develop, and lead Senior Delivery Managers and manage owner’s-representative and project-management partners.
• Set and enforce integrated scheduling, quality, change-control, reporting, and delivery standards across projects.
• Manage executive-level relationships with developers, general contractors, and third-party partners.
• Identify and clear blockers across developer, GC, and trade layers, intervening on site when required.
• Coordinate with transaction, design engineering, facility operations, commissioning, deployment, and safety teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering data centers or other mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-project portfolios and building the teams responsible for delivery.
• End-to-end knowledge of entitlements and permitting, design, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Executive-level experience managing developer, GC, and third-party relationships.
• Willingness to be on site most of the time and lead through direct presence.

Nice to have

• Hyperscale data center delivery experience on the owner, developer, or GC side.
• Experience with the Australian and Japanese/Korean markets, including contractors, permitting regimes, and contractual norms.
• Familiarity with lease, construction, and development contract structures.
