Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Execute preventive maintenance programs for production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Replace and calibrate motors, bearings, belts, sensors, solenoids, tooling, and other components.
• Troubleshoot 120V/240V/480V electrical systems and PLC-based equipment.
• Maintain compressed air, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
• Respond to breakdowns, identify recurring failure modes, reduce downtime, and maintain CMMS records.

Requirements

• GED, high school diploma, or higher.
• At least 3 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Independent troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, clamp meters, and meggers.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, electrical safety, shop safety, schematics, ladder diagrams, P&ID drawings, and equipment manuals.
• At least one current, recognized technical certification.
• Authorization to work in the United States and a valid California driver’s license required; background check and drug screening required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-volume production equipment.
• PLC programming or advanced troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems.
• CMMS experience for work orders and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• MIG or TIG welding certification.
• Forklift or aerial lift operator certification.
