Lead Installation Technician - Mt Pleasant

Location: Mt Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA; onsite work at client construction and commercial job sites

What you will do

• Lead and perform installation work for access control, CCTV, intercom, IP camera, rack, enclosure, and panel systems.
• Interpret project drawings, matrices, BOMs, SRDs, and DIV28 specifications to deliver finished systems.
• Supervise, delegate, train, and coach installation technicians and coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, project managers, and site supervisors.
• Manage assigned schedules, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate timeline risks, equipment issues, and technical problems promptly.
• Test, troubleshoot, configure, aim, and adjust devices and resolve installation issues onsite.
• Maintain project records, including inventory, site readiness documents, work completed, project issues, RFIs, and redlines in OneNote.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of recent hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance cameras in large-scale commercial environments.
• Experience supervising, training, and providing feedback to other technicians.
• Knowledge of ACS, CCTV, intercom, IP networking, electric locking hardware, door and gate retrofitting, and PC administration for IP cameras.
• Experience with systems such as Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, or DMP.
• Proficiency with Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Bluebeam, and Adobe Reader; ability to review drawings, matrices, BOM lists, SRDs, RFIs, and redlines.

Nice to have

• Lenel certification or experience.
• Experience with data centers and new construction.
